Bhubaneswar: Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan has fallen prey to fake news after social media posts targeting him after the Pulwama attack is doing the rounds on Facebook. The post read, “I’ll leave the country if Pakistanis artists are banned- Shah Rukh Khan.”

Several users have believed this to be true and have shared this on Facebook and Twitter. The truth is that Shah Rukh has not made any such statement. According to reports, there is no interview of his, or media reports, saying something like this.

After the February 14 Pulwama attack that claimed the lives of over 40 CRPF jawans, relations between India and Pakistan have deteriorated. SRK had tweeted, “Heartfelt condolences to the families of our valiant jawans. May the souls of our countrymen who laid their lives down for us rest in peace. #Pulwama”

Soon after that, All India Cine Workers Association announced a total ban on Pakistani actors and artists from working in the Indian film industry.
