1 Cr Precaution Doses Administered Across India Within 29 Days: Health Minister

Bhubaneswar: India has achieved administration of 1 crore precaution doses of COVID-19 vaccine within a period of 19 days.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Lal Mandaviya informed through a Tweet on Friday that precaution dose of COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to over 1 crore people, till January 28.

While the vaccination drive for administration of precaution dose started on January 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that people above 60 years of age, healthcare workers and frontline workers will be eligible for the jab.
