Bhubaneswar/Rewa: As many as 15 people died and several others were injured when a bus collided with a trolley in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday night.
Reportedly, the bus was on its way to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh from Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. All the passengers were residents of Uttar Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed grief over the incident. He spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today and apprised him of the incident.
The Madhya Pradesh Government will be sending the mortal remains of deceased passengers to Prayagraj. Injured passengers, after receiving treatment, were sent to Prayagraj in two buses overnight.
Critically injured passengers are getting treated free of cost at MP’s Rewa Medical College. Rewa district administration is ensuring all necessary arrangements.
