Blown Up Body Of Maoist Leader Found Stuck On To Tree In Chhattisgarh

Malkangiri/Kankeri: A charred body of ultra was found stuck up amid the branches of a tree in a forest area under the Amabeda police limits of Kanker district in Chhattisgarh.

A photograph of the incident has been doing rounds these days in the area adjacent to this south-Odishan district.
As per reports, the red rebels were planting a bomb to bump up the security forces when one of their comrades got killed in the explosion and two others sustained grievous injuries.

The Naxalites have also made the mishap public by distributing posters and flaunting banners in the area.
As per their revelations, the accident occurred at Chukpal village of Amabeda around 6.15 am on February 18. The bomb explosion killed DVC member Somji alias Sahadev Beida.

As mentioned below, the posters have been issued by the Maoists’ North Bastar Divisional Committee spokesman Sukhdev Kabde.

He has claimed that the blast happened when they were planting bombs to blow up the caravan of security forces deployed for combing and anti-left wing extremism (LWE) operations in the infested area.
