Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 results on Tuesday with girls outshining boys by a slender margin of 0.35 percent.
The pass percentage of girls has been recorded at 99.24% and for boys, it is 98.89%. The overall pass percentage is 99.04%.
The board released the results on its official website. Students can download their results through their roll number and date of birth. The results can also be downloaded in Digilocker. Students can also download and print their results.
Students can check their results through the official website of CBSE and UMANG app. Apart from this, students can also get the result through SMS.
The CBSE Board exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 7 and the results were to be announced by July 15. However, they were cancelled due to coronavirus.
The result was prepared on the basis of an objective criterion developed by the CBSE.
This year the Class 10 and 12 board examinations could not be conducted due to the Covid pandemic. In view of this, CBSE decided to prepare the Class 10 and 12 board results under a special formula.
