New Delhi: US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti on Thursday was all praise for Delhi Metro after taking a ride on the rapid transit system, describing it as among the best in the world.
Sharing a video on ‘X’, Garcetti said he had a great time riding the Delhi Metro and meeting fellow passengers.
“Wow! Delhi Metro, you make traveling so easy! I had a great time riding the Delhi metro for the first time and meeting fellow passengers. A shout out to the well maintained, efficient, and green public transport system that is among the best in the world!” Garcetti posted.
He was also seen interacting with passengers on the Delhi Metro.
The US Ambassador was also seen showing the ‘Smart Card’ used for travelling in Delhi Metro to the camera.
