New Delhi: Delhi on Thursday reported a decline in fresh Covid infections in last 24 hours, at 965 cases gainst 1,009 reported on previous day, while there was one death, the Health Department bulletin said.
The Covid positivity rate was at 4.71 per cent, as against 5.7 per cent the previous day.
The number of active cases in the city has risen to to 2,970, of which 1,948 are being treated in home isolation.
With 635 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries has gone to 18,42,525.
The Covid fatality rate stands at 1.4 per cent, as per the bulletin.
The new infections has led the cumulative caseload tally rising to 18,71,657 and the death toll to 26,162.
The number of Covid containment zones is 622.
Meanwhile, a total of 20,480 new tests — 11,203 RT-PCR and 9,277 Rapid Antigen – were conducted in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 3,76,20,714.
A total of 25,287 vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours – 3,343 first doses, 14,311 second doses and 7,633 precaution doses. The total number of cumulative beneficiaries vaccinated so far stands at 3,30,12,667 according to the health bulletin.
