Bhubaneswar: The price of a 14.2 kg domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased by Rs 50 with effect from Wednesday. With the latest revision, the domestic cylinder will cost Rs. 1,103 per cylinder in Delhi from Wednesday.
In addition, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 350.50 with effect from March 1.
The prices of domestic cooking gas vary from one state to another due to local taxes. The prices of LPG cylinders are revised every month by fuel retailers at the beginning of every month.
These price increases came into effect immediately, causing concerns among citizens about the rising cost of living. The LPG cylinder price hike is likely to have an impact on the budget of households that rely on LPG for cooking.
