Bhubaneswar: With a hike of Rs 50 per cylinder, in line with a surge in international fuel prices, the price of non-subsidised domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has reached Rs 999.50 per cylinder.
The cooking gas price was hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder with effect from today. This is the first increase in LPG rates since early October.
The prices of commercial LPG cylinders were increased earlier on May 1 by Rs 102.50, pushing the price to Rs 2,355.50. It is the second hike in the price of commercial LPG cylinder after the end of recent Assembly elections.
