Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out in three compartments of Falaknuma Express between Bommaipally and Pagidipally in Telangana. The train was halted after the detection of the fire.  According to reports, all passengers deboarded the train, and no injuries were reported.

This incident comes days after an investigation into the Odisha train tragedy identified “wrong signaling” as the primary cause of the Balasore tri-train accident and highlighted multiple failures within the Signalling and Telecommunication (S&T) department.

However, the inquiry findings submitted by a high-level investigation team indicated that the tragedy could have been averted if the officials focused on the warning signs.
