Bhubaneswar: India registered 15,102 fresh Covid cases and 278 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Wednesday.
With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 5,12,622.
The recovery of 31,377 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 4,21,89,887. India’s active caseload is presently at 1,64,522. With this, the Daily positivity rate is at 1.28%.
With the administration of 33,84,744 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,76,19,39,020 as of Wednesday morning.
