Bhubaneswar: India registered 1,61,386 fresh Covid cases and 1,733 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Wednesday.
With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,97,975.
The recovery of 2,81,109 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,95,11,307. India’s active caseload is presently at 16,21,603. With this, the Daily positivity rate is at 9.26%.
With the administration of 57,42,659 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,67,29,42,707 as of Wednesday morning.
