Bhubaneswar: India registered 1,72,433 fresh Covid cases and 1,008 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Thursday.
With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,98,983.
The recovery of 2,59,107 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,97,70,414. India’s active caseload is presently at 15,33,921. With this, the Daily positivity rate is at 10.99%.
With the administration of 55,10,693 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,67,87,93,137 as of Thursday morning.
