Bhubaneswar: India registered 2,38,018 fresh Covid cases and 310 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Tuesday.
Among the new cases, 8,891 are cases of Omicron. With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,86,761.
The recovery of 1,57,421 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,53,94,882. India’s active caseload is presently at 17,36,628. With this, the Daily positivity rate is at 14.43%.
With the administration of 79,91,230 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,58,04,41,770 as of Tuesday morning.
