Bhubaneswar: India registered 2,483 fresh Covid cases and 1,399 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Tuesday.
With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 5,23,622.
The recovery of 1,970 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 4,25,23,311. India’s active caseload is presently at 15,636.
With the administration of 22,83,224 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,87,95,76,423 as of Tuesday morning.
