Bhubaneswar: India registered 2,82,970 fresh Covid cases and 441 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Wednesday.
Among the new cases, 8,961 are cases of Omicron. With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,87,202.
The recovery of 1,88,157 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,55,83,039. India’s active caseload is presently at 18,31,000. With this, the Daily positivity rate is at 15.13%.
With the administration of 76,35,229 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,58,88,47,554 as of Wednesday morning
