Bhubaneswar: India registered 5,921 fresh Covid cases and 289 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Saturday.
With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 5,14,878.
The recovery of 11,651 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 4,23,78,721. India’s active caseload is presently at 63,878. The daily positivity rate stands at 0.63%.
With the administration of 24,62,562 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,78,55,66,940 as of Saturday morning.
