Bhubaneswar: India registered 6,561 fresh Covid cases and 201 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Friday.
With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 5,14,589.
The recovery of 13,450 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 4,23,67,070. India’s active caseload is presently at 69,897. The daily positivity rate stands at 0.69%.
With the administration of 24,84,412 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,78,29,13,060 as of Friday morning.
