Bhubaneswar: India reported 8,954 new cases of Covid-19 and 267 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Wednesday.
As per the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 10,207 more persons recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, and the active caseload stands at 99,023.
While the total number of cases stands at 3,45,96,776, the total recoveries are 3,40,28,506, and the total death toll has reached 4,69,247.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered so far in the country stands at 1,24,10,86,850, with 80,98,716 doses administered in the last 24 hours.
