New Delhi: At a time when Pakistan claimed to have destroyed many Indian drones, Gen. (Retd.) Yogesh Bahl stated that Pakistan’s drone attacks against India have been ineffective.

According to Gen. Bahl, India’s Russian-made S-400 defense system successfully neutralized seven to eight drones launched by Pakistan over Jammu.

The S-400 system, known for its advanced capabilities, has proven to be highly effective in destroying drones, with a range of approximately 400 kilometres. Gen. Bahl highlighted that despite Pakistan’s use of a Chinese-made defense system, it has failed to counter India’s S-400 system.

The retired general’s statement comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, with both countries engaging in a war of words and accusations over drone attacks.

Talking to IANS, he said, “Since yesterday, Pakistan has been firing drone vapors at us, but our Russian-made defense equipment, the S400, has been successfully neutralizing them, completely eliminating their effectiveness. Although Pakistan has a Chinese system, it is failing to counter the S400. The S400 has a range of about 400 kilometers and is highly effective in destroying drones. Pakistan tried launching seven to eight drones over Jammu, but all of them were destroyed.”
