Bhubaneswar: Orissa High Court judge Justice Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court.
Union Minister of State for Law & Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal through a post on his X handle has confirmed Justice Sarangi’s appointment.

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended Justice Sarangi’s name.
Justice Sarangi after enrolling as a lawyer in 1985 practiced before the Orissa High Court as well as the Supreme Court.
He was appointed as a judge of the Orissa High Court on June 20, 2013.
