Jaipur: Justice Sambhaji Shiwaji Shinde was on Tuesday sworn-in as the 38th Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office to Justice Shinde at a ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan.
Since the retirement of Chief Justice Akil Qureshi, Justice M.M. Srivastava was acting Chief Justice. However, Chief Justice Shinde’s tenure in Rajasthan will be short as he will retire on August 1.
