**Bhubaneswar:** While multiple agencies are engaged in day-and-night rescue efforts in Kerala, the heroic act of a fisherman has caught the limelight.
The fisherman identified as Jaison KP, bends down on his knees to facilitate the ascent of the flood-affected victims onto the power boats.
In the process, he remains half-submerged in flood water. While the efforts of Jaison have garnered accolades all across the country, a video showing him helping the stranded people is already viral on social media.
Jaison aged about 32 years, is a native of Kannur district of Kerala. The man has shown exemplary courage and conviction to help the needy people at a time of distress, setting an example for others.
