Bhubaneswar: A case of unnatural death has been registered by the Kolkata police, in connection with the death of singer KK. According to reports, KK’s face and head bore injuries, and a case was registered at the New Market police station in Kolkata.
The autopsy would be conducted at Kolkata’s SSKM Hospital on Wednesday to ascertain the exact cause of death. The police will also be talking to the staff at the hotel and the event organisers.
Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known as KK, passed away on Tuesday evening. The singer fell ill while performing at an event in Kolkata and was brought to the CMRI hospital, where he was declared dead.
He was just 54 years old. One of the most versatile singers of the Indian film industry, KK has recorded songs in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali.
