The results of the Assembly elections for Maharashtra are set to be announced today as counting of votes commenced across various centres in the state.
The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance is confident of retaining the power, while Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) which includes Shiv Sena (UBT), the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Sharad Pawar, and the Congress is also eying to grab power in Maharashtra.
