Bhubaneswar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the NEET UG 2025 exam date, confirming that the medical entrance test will be conducted on May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM, in pen-and-paper format.

Aspiring candidates can now register online at neet.nta.nic.in, as the application process has begun. The deadline to submit applications is March 7, while a correction window will be open from March 9 to March 11 for necessary modifications.

Serving as the sole entrance exam for undergraduate medical and allied courses in India, NEET UG remains a critical milestone for medical aspirants. As per the official notification, the results for NEET UG 2025 will be announced by June 14, 2025.

In a significant change, the exam pattern has been revised, reverting to its pre-COVID format. The NEET UG 2025 paper will now have 180 compulsory questions, distributed as follows: 45 each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 from Biology. The optional questions in Section B, introduced during the pandemic, have been removed, meaning candidates will no longer have extra time or flexibility in selecting questions.

The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, ensuring accessibility for students across the country.
