Bhubaneswar: Rahul Sahu, the 11-year-old boy who was rescued from an 80-feet deep abandoned borewell at Pihrid village in Chhattisgarh’s Janjgir-Champa district on Tuesday night, is receiving the best treatment.
Collector Jitendra Kumar Shukla informed that he had consulted with the doctor treating Rahul after he was brought out of the tunnel. As per the doctor, the condition of the child was stable and he will definitely recover.
Rahul is being provided with best to best medical treatment, added Shukla.
Around midnight on June 14, Rahul was brought out of the tunnel on a stretcher by members of the rescue team. Later, he was taken to the Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur in an ambulance, for which a green corridor was created.
Rahul had fallen into the abandoned borewell located in the backyard of his house on Friday. He was rescued safely at 11:58 pm on Tuesday night. His survival was a miracle as he shared the narrow space for around 104 hours with a snake and frogs.
pic.twitter.com/JejmhL7PBj
