New Delhi: A retailer was stabbed to death by unknown assailants following a quarrel over some issue on Thursday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Rajesh.
“Information was received from BJRM Hospital at Mahendra Park police station regarding a body following which a police team was dispatched for the hospital,” said a senior police officer.
“The deceased identified as Rajesh was a small ginger retailer. When he was going to vegetable market, he entered into a quarrel with some unknown persons,” said the officer.
“The unknown assailants stabbed him. He sustained five incised wounds and later succumbed to injuries. Legal action is being taken. Further investigation is in progress,” the officer added.
