RSS Leader Shot In J&K, Guard Killed After Gunmen Open Fire At District Hospital

**Jammu:** Suspected militants on Tuesday shot and wounded a RSS leader, Chandrakant Singh, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar town, killing his guard, police said.

Singh was shot outside a hospital where he was employed by the Health Department. According to a news agency, the gunmen barged into the hospital and snatched the security’s officer’s weapon. They attempted to fire at Chandrakant, but Sharma’s personal security officer was killed in the scuffle.

His security guard was killed on the spot. The militant fled with the service rifle of the guard. Soon after, people protested against the attack on the RSS leader.
