**Hyderabad: ** instead of helping a hapless woman being raped by a drunkard on the busy streets of Visakhapatnam in broad daylight, sheer sadist onlookers ruthlessly resort to filming the deplorable act and heinous crime.
The incident took place in New Railway Colony between Tadichetlapalem and the railway station at around 2:30 pm on Sunday.
The accused has been identified as Ganji Siva, a 23-year-old truck cleaner was later arrested and produced before the court on Monday.
According to the Town Police Station sub-inspector the woman had left her house two day earlier following a family dispute.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot but was unable to nab the culprit as he had fled the spot on his motorbike. basing on further information from the local he was later apprehended.
On the other hand, the victim woman was sent to the King George Hospital for medical examination.
