Bhubaneswar: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced to set up the country’s “biggest and most beautiful” film city in the state’s Gautam Buddh Nagar.
“The CM, while addressing a review meeting, announced to set up the biggest and most beautiful film city of the country in Gautam Buddh Nagar. He instructed officials to search for suitable land in or around Noida, Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway and prepare an action plan,” an official statement said on Friday.
The New Indian Express reported that Adityanath directed the Noida Authority to expedite the work of ongoing projects like Noida Convention and Habitat Centre, golf course and the expansion of the Metro and a shooting range in Sector 21-A.
The CM also gave the directions during a review meeting of development projects of the Meerut Division, comprising Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Baghpat and Gautam Buddh Nagar districts.
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and singer Anup Jalota lauded the UP CM’s efforts.
