Bhubaneswar: The heroic gesture of a lady doctor has made her an inspirational figure among netizens after two videos of her performing CPR on an elderly man went viral.

According to a social media post by X user Rishi Bagree, the incident reportedly happened at Terminal 2 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.

The user shared two videos: in the first video, the lady doctor was seen performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) on an elderly man, probably in his 60s, who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest in the airport and fainted.

In the second video, the man was seen gaining consciousness after being given CPR continuously for nearly 5 minutes. The lady doctor also motivated the elderly man, repeatedly asking, “Uncle, are you alright… take a deep breath…”

Today at T2 Delhi Airport, a gentleman in his late 60s had a heart attack in the food court area.

This lady Doctor revived him in 5 mins.

The social media post has garnered 4.8 million views, 119,000 likes, 24k reposts, and 2.6k comments.

Netizens are overwhelmed by the warm gesture of the lady doctor and have showered her with appreciation in the comment section.

One user wrote, “Salute to the doctor! Every Indian should learn how to do CPR. In Germany, it’s part of the first aid course, which is a mandatory step to get a driving license.”

Another user wrote, “That’s incredible news! Kudos to the lady doctor who acted swiftly and revived the gentleman within just 5 minutes. Proud of our doctors for their dedication and life-saving skills!”

The lady in the video is yet to be identified.
