Wreckage Of The Pakistani F-16 Fighter Jet Shot Down By India Found: Reports

**New Delhi:** The first photos of wrecked Pakistan Air Force’s fighter jet F-16 have surfaced in the media today. The jet that was shot down by the Indian Air Force on Wednesday, was seen being inspected by Pakistan military officers in PoK, reports stated.

Reports also added that Commanding Officer and officials of Pakistan’s 7 Northern Light Infantry inspected the wrecks. While, Pakistan denied that it used F-16s, Ministry of External Affairs had yesterday said, “A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft was shot down by a MiG-21 Bison.The Pakistani aircraft was seen by the ground forces falling from the sky on the Pakistan side,” he said.

Meanwhile, IAF’s Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is currently in Pakistan’s custody after his airplane crashed across the LoC during the aerial engagements between the two countries.
