**Bhubaneswar:** Actress Elsa Ghosh, who had levelled mental harassment allegations against director Dilip Panda during audio release of her upcoming Ollywood film ‘Tu Mo Suna Chadhei’ here on Wednesday night, took an U-turn today.
Addressing a presser, Elsa said, “Whatever happened during the audio release has been covered by various electronic and print media as #MeToo or casting couch. However, in heat of the moment I felt being misbehaved by the director and gave such reaction in protest of his action.”
Elsa said she was trying to say something on the mike when Panda tried to snatch it from her hand. Amid the commotion, she felt being misbehaved therefore she protested and raised her voice.
She further asserted that she finally came to know how Panda appreciated her work after watching his recent interview as the director was not talking with him since long.
Her relation with Panda was fine till the day he abused and threatened Elsa and her father out of the blue. Some issue may have bothered Panda which could have been sorted out then because of which the present situation would not have arrived, said Elsa.
Director Dilip Panda, who was also present in the presser said, “I had no intention of gaining any publicity through the allegations. She has done a fine job in the film and cooperated me as I carried on the shooting for 42 days despite promising her of 25 days. She has my blessings and there was some personal misunderstanding because of which I have already forgiven her.”
