**Balasore/Nayagarh:** A petrol pump owner was killed and at least 25 persons were injured, six of them critical, in three separate accidents at three different places of Odisha on Monday morning.
In Rourkela, a petrol pump owner was killed when a 10 wheeler iron-laden truck going towards Rourkela dashed his bike. The accident occurred at the National Highway-143 near Darjing under Lahunipara police limits of Sundargarh district.
In Balasore district, 21 persons were injured out of which two are critically injured after there was a collision between a passenger bus and a truck on National Highway-60 at Mirigi Mundi Chhak under Rupsa police limits.
The accident took place when the passenger bus was going on the Rupsa bypass road. The bus had a head on collision with a truck coming from Balasore.
After getting information, the police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured persons to the Balasore hospital.
In another incident, 4 persons were critically injured in Nayagarh district, when a truck collided with an Indigo car on National Highway-53 at Mahipur under Nuagaon police limits.
The accident happened when the car was returning to Phulbani from Bhubaneswar. A truck coming from the opposite side collided head on with the car. Four persons, including the driver of the car sustained serious injuries.
The injured persons were rescued by the fire brigade with the help of local people. At first, they were admitted to the Nayagarh hospital but were later shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar as their condition worsened.
