1 Killed, 5 Injured In Road Mishap In Sundargarh

Road Mishap In Sundargarh

Bhubaneswar: One person was killed and five others sustained injuries in a road accident involving a Bolero and an unidentified vehicle near Chhatabar village under Hemgir police limits in Sundargarh district late on Monday night.

The deceased is yet to be identified.

According to sources, the incident occurred on the Bankibahal–Topria road when the Bolero collided head-on with another vehicle.

Following the mishap, local residents and passersby rushed the injured to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Hemgir for treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.

On receiving information, Hemgir police reached the spot, seized the vehicle, and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.
