Bargarh: A paddy harvest from 10 acres was set on fire at Birjam village, Sohela block, Bargarh district. The fire reduced a paddy heap on the threshing floor.
Local farmers had harvested paddy from their field and kept it on the threshing floor. On Wednesday night, some miscreants set fire to the paddy heap.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel reached Birjam and brought the fire under control. However, by the time the fire brigade reached and extinguished the fire, everything was completely destroyed.
