10 Cobra Hatchlings Rescued From Cuttack-Based Resort

Cuttack: After repeated sightings of snake hatchlings in various parts of Odisha in last few days, 10 more cobra hatchlings were rescued from Amrapalli resort at Kuranga in Phulnakhara of Cuttack district today.

As per reports the owner of the resort Pani had sighted a snakelet after which he contacted the Snake Helpline for help.

“After sighting a snakelet entering a hole near the resort, I contacted the snake helpline, who after arrival dug the spot and rescued 10 cobra hatchlings.

Few days back a baby cobra was rescued from the ground floor of a Girls Hostel in Kedar Gouri area of Bhubaneswar. The cobra was hiding inside a rice bag and was spotted by one of the hostel inmates.

It was later rescued by the founder of Snake Helpline, Subhendu Mallick.
