Bhubaneswar: Over 10 people were seriously injured when a tourist bus they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck near Bhairavi Temple on National Highway 57 in Boudh district’s Purunakatak block. However, no fatalities were reported.
The accident occurred as the bus named Shiva Shankar was heading towards Boudh. The injured were immediately rushed to Purunakatak Hospital for treatment.
The truck driver, however, managed to flee the scene, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the mishap and apprehend the accused truck driver.
