10 Injured, 4 Critical As Bolero Overturns In Bhadrak

Bhubaneswar: As many as 10 passengers sustained injuries as a Bolero vehicle they were travelling in overturned after losing balance near Betada Square under Basudevpur block in Bhadrak district in the wee hours of Saturday.

According to reports, the accident happened when family members and relatives of a bridegroom were returning from a wedding feast in Alabar village. The vehicle lost control and crashed into a road divider near the Betada market.

Local residents rushed to the scene and helped rescue the injured, who were then taken to Basudevpur hospital for treatment. After initial treatment, the critically injured were referred to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for further care.

The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident and are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident. The condition of the four injured is stated to be critical.
