Bhubaneswar: Odisha Information and Broadcasting Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh on Saturday informed that the state government is planning to supply irrigation facilities to at least 10 lakh hectares of land by 2019.

The Minister revealed this while addressing a press conference here as a part of Odisha Government’s media interaction programme.

He said, “Our government has provided irrigation facilities to 13 lakh 26 thousand hectares of land in last 17 years. Out of this, 4 lakh 61 hectares were irrigated in last three years. We are planning to supply irrigation facilities to at least 10 lakh hectares of land by 2019.”
