Bhubaneswar: More than 10 passengers of a private bus were injured after the vehicle overturned at Kalinga Ghati in Kandhamal district early this morning. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus, named ‘Khambeswari’, was traveling from Raipur to Berhampur when it lost balance at a bend on the Kalinga Ghati road and overturned. The injured passengers were admitted to Bhanjanagar Hospital by ambulance.

The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 am, but immediate rescue efforts averted a major incident.

This incident comes on the heels of a similar accident yesterday near Tangarmunda village under Sadar police station in Sundargarh, where one passenger lost their life and 30 others were injured.
