Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted light to moderate thundershower, squally wind with lightning to occur in 11 districts of Odisha within next three hours.
The districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhargarh, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khorda, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Koraput are likely to affect by the rain, the IMD stated.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
Under its impact, minor damage will cause to unsecured structures, banana trees. Some damage to standing crops may occur, IMD said.
