Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind today promoted 11 officers of the Odisha Civil Service to the Indian Administrative Service against available vacancies.
A notification issued by the Department of Personnel & Training in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions said that the IAS level vacancies were filled up against available vacancies as were determined by the Government of India in consultation with the State.
The notification states that the officers for the Select List of 2020 shall remain on probation until further orders and they shall be allocated to the Odisha Cadre, under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules 1954.
The shortlisted Odisha Civil Service officers who have been promoted to IAS level are Susamarani Devi, Dilip Routrai, Sudhakar Burgi, Dr Uddhaba Chandra Majhi, Jyoti Kumar Lakra, Indramani Tripathy, Subrata Satapathy, Trilochhan Pradhan, Alok Kumar Kar, Susanta Kumar Dash, and Kamal Lochan Mishra.
