Bhubaneswar: Odisha currently has 113 vacant posts in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the state assembly on Monday.

In a written reply to Daspalla MLA Ramesh Chandra Behera, the Chief Minister stated that out of 443 sanctioned IAS and IPS posts, 248 are designated for IAS officers and 195 for IPS officers.

Currently, 113 posts are vacant—46 in the IAS and 67 in the IPS.
