Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police is set to honour 119 personnel with the prestigious DGP’s Disc award for their exceptional performance and dedication to duty. They have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to public service, significantly contributing to maintaining law and order in their respective regions.
Odisha Police State Headquarters has announced the names of police personnel selected to receive the prestigious award for the year 2024-25. The awardees will be honoured on the 90th Police Formation Day on April 1, 2025.
The list of cops who received the prestigious award includes DIG of Police, Balasore Satyajit Naik; DIG of Police (Personnel) of State Police Headquarters Jugal Kishore Kumar Banoth, Rayagada Superintendent of Police (SP) Swathy S. Kumar, Kalahandi SP Nagraj Deverakonda, Nuapada SP Gundala Reddy Raghavendra, Kandhamal SP Harisha BC, Gajapati SP Jatindra Kumar Panda, Superintendent of Police (CID, Crime Branch) Krushna Prasad Pattnaik, Khurda Additional SP Srinibas Johann, OPS-I, Koraput Additional SP Manobrata Satapathy, Dhenkanal Additional SP Pravat Kumar Biswal and Keonjhar Additional SP Pratyusha Mohapatra among others.
