Bhadrak: Panic gripped Randhia village after a mammoth 12-ft-long python was rescued from a resident’s garden on Saturday.
Reportedly, a woman spotted the reptile in the garden when she was plucking flowers in the morning. She panicked and rushed to inform her family.
On receiving the information about presence of a python, snake catcher AK Mirza rushed to the spot and rescued the snake carefully. Later, the python was set free in the nearby forest.
It is notable to mention here that the breeding season of snakes is fast approaching and thus, sighting of the reptiles will be more common now.
