Bhubaneswar: As many as 12 persons sustained injuries as the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in overturned in Kendupada ghati area under Mohana police station in Gajapati district on Friday.
According to reports, the auto-rickshaw carrying around 15 passengers, mostly women, overturned while travelling to Govindpur Panchayat to collect rice. The auto lost balance and overturned on the roadside, causing the accident.
The injured were immediately rescued by locals and taken to Mohana Medical for treatment via ambulance.
