Balasore: In a tragic incident, a 12-year-old boy drowned in a pond in Simulia village of Bangalpur panchayat under Simulia police limits today.
The deceased has been identified as Paresh Nath. Paresh had gone to the pond for a wash and did not return home.
Later Paresh’s body was fished out from the pond after a four-hour-long search by skilled divers of an ODRAF team that joined the rescue operation after Fire Service personnel failed to trace him.
