13 Odisha Districts Likely To Receive Light To Moderate Rain In Next 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Some parts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Rayagada, Keonjhar and Khandamal are likely to receive light to moderate rain/thunderstorm with lightning likely to affect some parts of districts of in the next three hours, predicted the regional center of the India Meteorological Department here on Thursday.

In addition, the IMD has issued a yellow warning for moderate rain in 18 districts of Odisha today. The weather office, has an orange warning has been issued to seven districts in view of very heavy rainfall for Friday in include Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Nuapada, Nabarangapur, Malkangiri, and Koraput.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
